Pick the right handoff type

Porch pickup works for low-value items and trusted members. Meet nearby — a library, a café, a police-station lobby — is best for electronics. Doorstep handoff is for furniture you cannot carry far.

Test it there

Power it on. Ride it to the corner. Open every zip. Declining at the handoff costs nothing and reverses everything; discovering a problem a week later is harder for everyone.
